Sage Turkey Sausage

 1 lb ground turkey breast
 ¼ cup finely diced apple
 2 tbsp finely minced red onion
 2 tbsp finely minced fresh sage
 ½ tsp finely minced fresh thyme
 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
 ½ tsp salt
 ½ tsp freshly ground black pepper

In a large bowl, mix together turkey, apple, onion, sage, thyme, 1 tablespoon olive oil, salt, and pepper.

Make eight patties from the turkey mixture.

Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add 2 tablespoons olive oil.

Brown the patties for 3–4 minutes on each side, until firm to the touch. 4 Minutes

Store leftovers in an airtight glass container in refrigerator up to 3 days.
